unfortunately, this pattern is no longer available. i was lucky, i printed it out before it went offline.
a few things: somehow my flower was just 2-layers and that irked me so, i made up the 2nd flower sans pattern. don't ask me how, i don't remember. last, the cowl ended up shaping with a pointed V, which worked out since it's a looped thing but that irked me too. i added this item, imperfections & all, to my giveaway package since the winner ended up being female.
happy weekend.
happy weekend.

Um hello, gorgeous. That's adorable.
ReplyDeleteObviously, I must learn how to crochet now.
Lan, I'd love to know your secret to finding the time for all these crafty projects.
ReplyDeleteIt is fortunate that I'm female, for more reasons than just the adorable cowl scarf! Great color, too. I love it.
ReplyDeleteCheers and thanks again for being so crafty,
*Heather*
You're a pimp with those needles, Lan. Your knitwork never cease to amaze me.
ReplyDeletePretty!
ReplyDeleteHmm. I think I can figure out how to crochet roses by looking at your pictures. I can't read patterns for the life of me. I just keep looking and looking until I figure out how I'd do it.
amy - it's easy, i had a friend show me one afternoon & then i learned stitches via youtube. i've been doing it for about 4 years.
ReplyDeletewendi - i like to multitask... i crochet while i'm watching tv, waiting for a sauce to boil or cookies to bake. keeps me out of trouble. :)
heather, i am so very glad you like the cowl!
ali, thank you! it's actually called a hook (cus you know, i'm a hooker...), i don't mess with knitting needles much anymore.
chi wc, thanks! i can't read knitting patterns but a crochet pattern is pretty easy for me to grasp.
Pretty!
