it was a busy weekend, (when isn't it?!) where i met lovely local bloggers (thx sweet mary and wendi...), watched a bit of true blood (dear nancy, i swear, i will watch the 1st season. xoxo, me), had a luscious 'shroom experience, made a glorious spaghetti bolognese, had a joy luck club meeting, an impromtu picture taking lesson and lots and lots and lots of laughter (when do i not laugh my ass off when i'm among friends?)

Thanks for spending part of your Saturday with me. It's so funny that we're practically neighbors. Would you believe that I did not make the stuffed mushrooms? I had to put the portobellos to use in another dish : (
What a wonderful blog. Your food looks delicious. I don't know how to cook and have been too intimidated to try again after so many fantastic failures. But this is so inspiring.
@cathy, seriously, the sauce was amazing. i tinkered with it a bit & added red wine the last 20 minutes. i did not take pictures but i know i'll be making this again soon, so hopefully i'll be be able to capture the awesomeness. hope you're having a better day today!
@wendi, it was absolutely wonderful hanging out with you and sweet mary! i was just thinking that i'd like to make the stuffed portobellos again soon, probably this week, it was so gooooood.
