fresh herbage is nice. i'm currently enamored with Thyme. it has a very earthy flavor, citrusy. goes great with veggies and i bet really good baked, like lemon cookies or something. i'll have to give that a whirl. anyway, i was not in the mood to be cooking any dinner tonight. made a pot of white rice that should last me a week and then i sauteed some zuchinni in olive oil. i tossed it with some onions, garlic and a teaspoon of the thyme.
put atop a bowl of steaming white rice and i was a happy camper.
